The VM-3P5A calculates active power, apparent power, voltage, current, and power factor for each phase, broadcasting data every 100 milliseconds. This high refresh rate ensures your system responds instantly to sudden load shifts, minimizing grid power reliance and maximizing self-consumption.

Dual Connectivity: Ethernet & VE.Can Onboard

Integrating your meter into your power system is quick and straightforward. The VM-3P5A features both an Ethernet port (Modbus UDP) for local network integration and dual VE.Can ports for direct connection to Victron GX communication devices (such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX). Included VE.Can terminators make direct cabling simple and clean.

Flexible Roles & Easy App Configuration

Engineered as a plug-and-play grid meter for systems using Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers, the VM-3P5A works straight out of the box. Using the VictronConnect app, you can effortlessly customize the meter’s role - switching between Grid Meter, PV Inverter, Generator, AC Load, EV Charger, or Heat Pump - and configure energy registration methods to match your specific regional utility standards.
(Please note: The VM-3P5A is designed for use with standard 5A secondary external current transformers, which are sold separately.)
